ZLB Behring Names Robert D. Lefebvre, Ronan W. Gannon, Garrett E. Bergman, M.D., to Top U.S. Management Posts
Operations Division Strengthened with Addition of Experienced Industry Experts

ZLB Behring has announced the appointment of Robert D. Lefebvre as Vice-President, General Manager, U.S. Commercial Operations. A seasoned pharmaceutical executive with over 25 years of diverse international business experience, Mr. Lefebvre is responsible for all business operations and general management accountability for all U.S. Commercial Operations at ZLB Behring, a top-ranked biopharmaceutical company specializing in plasma therapeutics.
ZLB Behring has also named Ronan W. Gannon to the post of Vice President, U.S. Marketing. Gannon brings 20 years of experience, also in the pharmaceutical sector, and oversees all commercial marketing activity at ZLB Behring, based in King of Prussia, PA. Garrett E. Bergman, M.D., has been named to the position of Senior Director Medical Affairs, U.S. Commercial Operations.

Prior to joining ZLB Behring, Robert Lefebvre held the position of Vice-President, Global Marketing, MDS Pharma Services, where he had full accountability for all marketing and external communications activities for that top five contract research organization (CRO). Previously, he spent nearly 13 years with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), having established a career there beginning in 1992 in Canada as head of the Oncology/Virology Business Unit and progressing upward through increasingly more responsible roles with BMS in their International and Global Marketing divisions, culminating in the role of Vice President/Global Brand Champion in Oncology Global Marketing. Prior to BMS, Mr. Lefebvre spent a number of years in sales and marketing management roles with Sandoz Canada. Mr. Lefebvre earned a Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University in Montreal and resides in New Hope, PA. He is married and has two children.
Ronan Gannon was formerly Executive Director of Marketing for Vaccines at Glaxosmithkline. Prior to that he held progressively more responsible roles in sales management and marketing within AstraZeneca and Wyeth, launching products in the respiratory, oncology, and cardiovascular markets. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mr. Gannon is married and has three children. He resides in Kennett Square, PA.
After a distinguished academic career, Dr. Bergman served at Rorer, Armour Pharmaceutical, RPR, which later became ZLB Behring. He also served at Centeon LLC from 1989 to 1997, in the Medical Affairs Department. Most recently, Dr. Bergman served as the Vice President, Research and Development for Octagen Corporation. Dr. Bergman holds a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University School of Business and Management, a Doctorate in Medicine from Jefferson Medical College, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
