2008 Gettin’ in the GameSM Junior National Championship
Are you interested in learning how to play a new sport or looking to improve your baseball or golf skills? Do you just want to get outside for a day of fun with your family?
If so, join us for the 7th Annual Gettin’ in the GameSM Junior National Championship. By participating in this great day, you could win a trip for you and your family to the 2008 National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado!
Event activities for families and children include:
- Golf and baseball clinics for all skill levels
- A chance to meet with two of our Gettin’ in the GameSM athletes
- Family games and activities

Perry Parker
is a professional golfer who has played on the Asian, Australian, Canadian, Nike and PGA tours, and in three US Opens. He has won more than 30 professional golf tournaments in California. Perry has mild hemophilia A (factor VIII deficiency). |

Jesse Schrader, Professional Baseball Player
Jesse Schrader
is a left-handed pitcher who plays semi-professional baseball for the Canton Stallions in the Cleveland, Ohio, area. Previously, Jesse was drafted by the Florence Freedom and played a year of professional baseball in the minor leagues. Jesse has moderate hemophilia A (factor VIII) deficiency. |

By participating in this fun day, you have the chance to win an all-expense paid trip for you and two accompanying adults to the 2008 NHF Annual Meeting. |
At each regional event, three children—the baseball competition winner, the golf competition winner, and the raffle prize winner—will win a trip for themselves and two accompanying adults to Denver, Colorado, to attend the 2008 NHF Annual Meeting. So, no matter what your skill level in baseball or golf, you have the chance to win a trip to Denver!
Junior National Champions in Golf and Baseball
When the regional events have culminated, scores from each baseball and golf competition will be tallied by CSL Behring.
The regional winner in golf with the lowest overall score will be named Junior National Champion in golf and will receive, in addition to their trip, a CSL Behring golf bag and new set of irons.
The regional winner in baseball with the highest overall score will be named Junior National Champion in baseball and will receive, in addition to their trip, a CSL Behring bat bag filled with a bat, glove and baseball hat.
All Junior National Champions will be notified by CSL Behring.

You don’t want to miss one moment of this exciting day, so
please arrive on time for the registration and warm-up sessions.
Proper dress attire is required on the golf courses, so please dress accordingly. Jeans, cut-off shorts, cargo shorts and cargo pants are not permitted to be worn.
During the morning clinic, Perry Parker will lead a clinic to introduce kids to golf and help them improve their golf game. Golf clubs will be provided however if you have your own golf clubs, please bring them with you.
Jesse Schrader will help you with your skills during the morning baseball clinic. All necessary equipment will be provided.
Always consult with your Hemophilia Treatment Center team to determine if a particular sport or exercise is right for you.
